Starting out

How long does it take to set up a campaign?: About five minutes. You need a title, a goal in naira, and a description of what the money is for. Photos and a deadline are optional and can be added later.
Can I edit a campaign after publishing it?: Yes. The title, story, photos and goal can all be changed while the campaign is live. The goal cannot be set below what you have already raised, and the category is fixed once donors have given.
Do I need a registered business?: No. Individuals can raise money with a personal bank account. Registered organisations can add their business details instead.

When can I withdraw?: Whenever you like. You do not have to reach your goal or wait for the campaign to end — request a withdrawal and we send it to your account.
Why is my withdrawal smaller than the amount raised?: Fees are deducted before payout: the platform fee, the payment processing fee, and a flat ₦100 per withdrawal. The pricing page shows exactly how this is calculated.
What is the largest single donation someone can make?: ₦1,000,000 in one transaction. A donor wanting to give more can split it across two donations, and organisers expecting larger gifts should contact us in advance.

Do I need an account to donate?: No. You can give as a guest with just an email address for your receipt.
Can I give anonymously?: Yes. Tick the anonymous option and your name will not appear on the campaign. The organiser still cannot see it.
Can I get a refund?: If a campaign is found to be fraudulent, yes — contact us and we will refund you. Refunds for a change of mind are at the organiser's discretion.
