How it works

From an idea to money in your account

No monthly fee, no setup fee, and nothing to pay if you never raise anything. Here is exactly what happens at each step, for organisers and for the people who give.

If you are raising

  1. 01

    Tell the story

Add a title, a goal in naira, photos, and what the money is for. Drafts save as you type, so you can start on your laptop and finish on your phone.

    About 5 minutes

  2. 02

    Share it everywhere

Share straight to WhatsApp, X or Facebook, copy the link, or print the QR poster for a noticeboard or flyer.

Most campaigns get their first donation within an hour

  3. 03

    Add your bank account

Tell us the Nigerian account you want to be paid into. It is only needed when you are ready to take money out, not before you start raising.

    Takes a minute

  4. 04

    Withdraw to your bank

Move your balance to any Nigerian bank whenever you want. There is no waiting for the campaign to end and no minimum you have to reach first.

    Arrives same day

If you are giving

Pick an amount

Choose a suggested amount or type your own. You do not need a KudiRaise account to give.

Pay how you already pay

Bank transfer, card, or from abroad in dollars and pounds. You see the exact total before you confirm.

Get your receipt

A receipt lands in your inbox immediately, and your name appears on the campaign unless you chose to give anonymously.

Common questions

Something not covered here? Ask us directly.

Do I need to reach my goal to keep the money?
No. Every naira donated is yours to withdraw as it comes in, whether you reach your goal or not. The goal is a target you set for donors, not a condition.
How quickly can I withdraw?
Request a withdrawal with your account details and a person on the team sends it. Naira donations settle immediately, so you are not waiting on a clearing period.
Can people abroad donate?
Yes. Donors outside Nigeria can pay by card in their own currency. You are still paid out in naira, and the conversion rate and fee are shown before they confirm.
What happens if a campaign turns out to be fraudulent?
Funds sit with KudiRaise rather than moving to the organiser instantly, which gives us a window to investigate reports before money moves. Campaigns we cannot stand behind are stopped and donations are refunded.
Can I raise money for someone else?
Yes, and this is common. You name the beneficiary when you create the campaign. For medical and emergency campaigns we ask for supporting documents so donors can see the need was checked.

Setting up takes five minutes and costs nothing. You only pay when money actually comes in.
